Letter of Marriage Recommendation
- Letter from Nigerian Groom/Bride-to-be addressed to the Ambassador stating that He/She is single
- Letter from both parties addressed to the Ambassador declaring their intention (marriage declaration)
- Letter of consent from foreign bride/groom-to-be (acknowledgement/letter of consent)
- Letter of Identification from the Nigeria Community In Congo
- letter confirming bachelorhood/spinsterhood from applicant’s Local Government Area
- Affidavit from high court of magistrate court in Nigeria declaring the single status applicant
- Two (2) recent passport photographs (size 3×4 cm)
- to be present with the bride-to-be/groom-to-be during submission of application/interview along with a member of their families
Attach photocopies of:
- Passport data and current visa pages
- National identity card of the bride and bridegroom

- Police report

- One way ticket
- Nigerian International Passport

- Copy of the father’s international passport
- Birth certificate
